- any additional information that you provide VenuesLive directly or through our stakeholders or representatives.
Collecting information about you
VenuesLive will collect and use your personal information as required or authorised by law, including the Privacy Act, the Spam Act 2003, and other legislation and regulations applicable to our business. We collect your personal information from various sources, including when you:
- provide VenuesLive your personal information and contact details;
- enquire of VenuesLive as to its products, services and activities/events;

- submit your resume or an application for employment opportunities with VenuesLive;

This may include the police, other law enforcement agencies, other government or regulatory authorities, and/or medical and emergency services providers.

The file of your personal information retained by VenuesLive will be provided within 14 days of our confirmation of receipt of your request, unless we are required to refuse a request in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Changing the information VenuesLive has about you
VenuesLive takes all reasonable steps to ensure the personal information we collect, use or disclose is accurate and complete. Deleting the information VenuesLive has about you

All requests to delete personal information must include proof of identity that we reasonably request (eg. passport or driver’s license) and should include your phone number in case we need to contact you. Once proof of identify has been confirmed we will delete your personal information unless it must be kept for legal reasons.
We will otherwise destroy or de-identify your personal information when it is no longer needed or we are no longer required by law to hold it.
Storage and security of your personal information
VenuesLive will do everything reasonable to keep the personal information we hold about you secure and protected from misuse and loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
We continually endeavour to improve security safeguards in line with current industry standards, however many data transmission methods (including wired and wireless transmission, storage devices) are not totally secure. Unfortunately, we therefore cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will not access and use the information you provide to VenuesLive, even with the security safeguards we use.
